What is the ‘reach and wash’ system of cleaning?

We use telescopic poles fed with purified water so there is no need for dirty bucket water and rags. We can reach up to 65 feet.

What is the difference between facias and soffits?

Fascia: The fascia is the exposed horizontal band you see at the end of the rafters.

Soffit: The soffit board is tucked away under the fascia board. It is usually the board that you see most of from street level.

What is GDPR?

Yes, all team members are covered for personal liability up to £10m each.

Do I need to be in?

If the indoor windows are being cleaned or access to the back is required, someone will need to be in.

When are we coming?

We will contact you if required by your preferred method a day or so before we come.

How do I pay?

A monthly direct debit is the easiest way to pay for our customers. We also accept cheque and bank transfers, or you can pay cash directly to the operator. We will always leave a receipt post-clean.

Do you clean in the winter months and if it’s raining?

As our wet cleaning system is unaffected by the elements, cleaning quality is still ensured. Only in adverse conditions will we have to reschedule.

What is your health and safety policy?

Aquaclean can provide a full risk assessment and method statement to clients identifying possible risks and precautions protecting our workers and your premises. Wherever practicable and reasonable, virtually all our external window cleaning is carried out up to a height of 70 feet using pure water fed pole technology systems. We adhere to health and safety working at height restrictions and hold public and employers liability.

How do you price a window cleaning job?

We take into consideration how long the job will take, if there are any windows that are tricky to reach and how easy it is to access the back of your house.

Do I need to sign a contract?

No you don’t, as long as you are happy for us to come we will continue doing so. If you do need to cancel for any reason we ask that you give us at least 2 weeks notice by letter, email or phone call before your next clean is due.

Do you use any chemicals?

No, we do not use any chemicals to clean with.

Do you dry the windows after?

We clean your windows and frames with purified water which does not contain contaminants and results in no marking and streak-free windows so there is no need to dry the windows after.
